Michelle Lambert El Dorado County Fair 2022

Michelle Lambert played the Red Hawk Casino Stage on Saturday, June 18th at the El Dorado County Fair. The theme of the fair was The Magic IS Back! How correct the fairgrounds were for this title! The music was amazing! I covered Saturday and Sunday of the fair and started with the performance of Michelle Lambert. Wow! What a way to start the day at our home fair after the hiatus from the pandemic.
I sat down on a bench and got the camera ready. Michelle was already performing when I sat. I thought, "Wow! Holding the camera to her and her music... I just can't put words to the experience.
Her voice is beautiful. Her style is perfect and her beauty fits who she is as a person. Yes, we spoke after her set. Most musicians don't speak to the photographer in the crowd. I'm not sure why. 
I loved how she walked up to me and introduced herself to a stranger. I loved how she gave me her business card and a CD. I said to her, "I should get this signed." (With a smile of course.) She said, "Why? Because it might be worth something someday?" I told her, "I know it will!"
I really loved how she spoke to the elderly lady sitting next to me. I was super impressed with how humble and kind she was. 
Her fiddle playing? OMG! Chills! She can SING, play the guitar and the violin! Multi talented and definitely one to see and hear perform!
